Countesthorpe Blinds Ltd have fitted Patio Awnings for many years. We have seen the popularity increase with the trend growing for more outdoor living space.

If you have a patio or decking an awning can help extend those summer evenings long after the sun has gone down. With the addition of lights and heaters there is no need for the fun to stop.

Awnings also are the extension you can put away. They can be used to increase the lounge area and give a non-permanent room, (unlike a conservatory) at a fraction of the cost.

Because of the shade awnings give, it also helps to keep the sun’s harmful rays off of your carpets and furniture. Awnings are also Ideal for children to play under too, as they reduce UVB rays by 100% in some fabrics.

Our motorised awnings can be supplied with vibration sensors. This safety feature will retract the awning if the wind reaches a level that’s not safe for the awning to be out. This safety feature is something we recommend on larger awnings and single story extensions and bungalows.

There is a wide range of colours for you to choose from to suit your tastes. Awnings can be fitted with a front valance to give extra shade and they are also a nice design feature too.
